The crispiest cucumber salad with a dressing that gives it a delightful Asian twist. A simple and flavourful way to add something fresh to your meal.

Ingredients

cucumbers
1 
red onion

Dressing:

3 tbsp
rice vinegar
2 tbsp
honey
1 tbsp
freshly grated ginger
1 
fresh red chili
1 bunch
of coriander

Preparation

Step 1

2  cucumbers

Rinse the cucumbers and slice them into long, even strips using a vegetable peeler.

Step 2

Salt

Place the cucumber strips in a bowl with salt, toss well, and let them sit for ten minutes. Rinse them thoroughly with water.

Step 3

1  red onion

Slice the red onion into fine strips.

Step 4

3 tbsp rice vinegar – 2 tbsp honey – 2 tbsp Kikkoman Naturally Brewed Soy Sauce1 tbsp freshly grated ginger

Mix the ingredients for the dressing in a separate bowl, then pour it over the onions and cucumbers.

Step 5

1  fresh red chili – 1 bunch of coriander

Top with finely sliced red chili and coriander, then serve or use as a filling in a burger.
