A flavoursome chilli and honey dip for all grilled foods This great KIKKOMAN soy sauce variation on a chilli and honey dip is the ideal accompaniment for grilled meat and vegetables. The aromatic KIKKOMAN soy sauce makes for a perfect counterpoint to the sweet and spicy flavours.

Ingredients for 4 portion(s)

  • 2–3 tbsp KIKKOMAN soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp white sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • 2 tbsp runny honey
  • 2 tsp freshly squeezed 
  • lemon juice
  • salt and freshly ground pepper

Preparation

  1. In a small bowl, stir together the KIKKOMAN soy sauce with the sesame seeds, chilli flakes, honey and lemon juice.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste. If the dip is too hot, you can adjust the spiciness by adding a little sugar or lemon juice.
