Asian Mini Rice & Meatballs
Ingredients for 4 portions
Cook the rice according to the pack instructions. Peel and finely chop the ginger. Knead together the meat, egg, 100 g of the cooked rice, half of the ginger, the breadcrumbs and 3 tbsp. Kikkoman naturally brewed soy sauce / less salt soy sauce. Season with ground chilli and pepper.
Form the mixture into small meatballs and place them on a steamer tray. Bring 1 litre of water and 5 tbsp. Kikkoman naturally brewed soy sauce/ less salt soy sauce to the boil in a pan with the steamer tray on top and steam the meatballs for approx. 10 minutes.
Peel the carrots, wash them, cut them into strips and stir-fry them in hot oil in a wok. Season the carrots with the remaining Kikkoman naturally brewed soy sauce/ less salt soy sauce and ginger and serve with the remaining rice and meatballs.
