Okonomi Yaki-Style Potato Fritters

Ingredients for 10 portions

Per portion: 1203 kJ / 287 kcal

  • 1,200 g potatoes            
  • 180 g soft cheese   
  • 60 ml vegetable oil
  • 10 cherry tomatoes           
  • 1/2 bunch of chives
  • 150 g Kikkoman Tonkatsu Sauce
  • 100 g mayonnaise
  • 80 g medium hot mustard


Preparation time: 40 mins

Peel, wash and finely grate the potatoes. Mix together the potato gratings and soft cheese, divide into portions and fry in the oil at a medium heat for approx. 6 minutes to form 10 fritters. Turn over the fritters and cook for approx. six minutes on the other side. 

Wash the tomatoes. Add them to the frying liquid and cook for approx. 2 minutes. Trim and wash the chives, then cut them into fine rings. Brush the fritters with Tonkatsu Sauce and garnish with mayonnaise and mustard. Sprinkle with chives and fried cherry tomatoes and serve hot.
