Kikkoman Bami Goreng with Chicken

Ingredients for 10 portions

Per portion: 1872 kJ / 447 kcal

  • Approx. 250 ml Kikkoman Naturally Brewed Soy Sauce
  • 15 g garlic, chopped
  • Coarsely ground pepper
  • 1 kg chicken breast fillet, cut into pieces
  • 200 g king prawns (approx. 20, peeled)
  • 30 ml sesame seed oil (or vegetable oil)
  • 500 g carrots, cut into sticks
  • 500 g cabbage, cut into strips
  • 20 g ginger, chopped
  • 500 g mangetout
  • 200 g bamboo shoots
  • 1 kg Asian noodles, pre-cooked
  • 1 tsp. turmeric, ground
  • 10-20 g Sambal Oelek (or hot chilli sauce)                               
  • 100 g roasted cashew nuts

Preparation

Preparation time: 25 mins

Combine 100 ml soy sauce with the garlic and pepper, then place the chicken in the mixture to marinate briefly. Fry the king prawns in hot oil in a frying pan, then remove and place aside. Now fry the chicken and marinade in the same pan. Add the carrots, cabbage and ginger and continue cooking for approx. 5 minutes. Add the mangetout and bamboo shoots and continue cooking for another 3 minutes or so. Stir in the noodles and heat up. Season the bami goreng with the rest of the soy sauce, turmeric, Sambal Oelek and pepper, plate up, garnish with cashew nuts and serve.
