Roasted filet mignon

Ingredients for 4 portions

Preparation time: 30 mins

Grate the peeled ginger and the garlic above a deep plate. Add the Chili Ponzu sauce, the honey. Mix together, add the filet mignon and let marinate 1 hour while turning time to time.

Meanwhile, prepare the vegetables. Cut the pumpkin in 1 cm-slice, peel the sweet potatoes and the turnips and cut them in 1 cm slices.

Pour the olive oil in a saucepan, add the vegetables, the four-spice blend, heat at moderate temperature. Add the soy sauce, 1 t s of water, cover and cook 15 minutes while turning time to time. Cook at a low temperature.

Drain the filet mignon from the marinade and put it in a saucepan with the peanut oil and heat at high temperature 10 minutes by turning often. Pour the marinade and cook and turn until the sauce smooth aspect.

Cut the filet in slices, put them on the plates, add the vegetables and the sauce.
