Cod with beans with Ponzu sauce

Ingredients for 4 portions

Per portion: 2077 kJ / 496 kcal

  • 1 piece of cod
  • 500 g fresh beans
  • 500 g tomato
  • 2 onions
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 ts olive oil
  • 2 sprigs of thyme
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 4 ts Kikkoman Orange Ponzu sauce





Preparation time: 1h 50 mins

Place the cod in a shallow dish, add 2 ts of Orange Ponzu sauce and let marinate during 30 minutes.

Peel and chop the tomatoes in quarters. Trim and slice the onions. 

Put the beans in a saucepan, add the garlic cloves peeled and cut in two, the thyme and the bay leaf. Cover with water, cook at medium heat for 40 min.

Heat the oil in a pan, add the onions and cook for 3 minutes. Add the tomatoes, turn and cook at medium heat during 20 minutes. Add the beans, 2 ts of Orange Ponzu sauce and cook for 40 minutes.

When the beans are cooked, steam the cod during 7-8 minutes.

Dress the beans and sauce into a deep plate, add the cod on them.
