If you enjoy grilled, fried or braised meat or vegetables in a savoury marinade, our Teriyaki Marinade is perfect for you. Although it’s probably most popular as a barbecue marinade, it’s also a great way to jazz up fried foods. Teriyaki Marinade has a distinctive, full-bodied flavour because it is manufactured on the basis of our classic soy sauce from the four pure ingredients of soy beans, wheat, water and salt.
The perfect ready-to-use marinade
A good weather forecast for the same evening or next day is a great incentive to get out the barbecue - and our Teriyaki Marinade. Simply open the lid, marinate your barbecue offerings for 30 minutes (or up to two days if you like) and you're ready to cook. The longer you marinate the food, the more intensive the flavour is and the more tender the results are. So put them on the barbecue and enjoy! To achieve an especially intensive and crispy result you can brush the savoury marinade on the foods as they cook.
A tip from us for salmon lovers! Next time you cook salmon, try marinating it in Teriyaki Marinade. Marinate it for a good hour in the fridge, then fry it on each side for approximately seven minutes. The same principle applies here: if you want a more intensive flavour, brush the salmon with the marinade during the cooking process. Serve the finished result with ginger and rice. And don’t worry if you make too much teriyaki salmon because it tastes just as fabulous cold in a salad.
