Poached Bream in Sukiyaki

Clean the bream, sour and salt it, then blanch briefly in boiling water. Bring the Sukiyaki stir-fry sauce, water, sugar and ginger to the boil, then poach the bream. Peel the black salsify, cut into pieces and add to the poaching liquid. Blanch the okra pods separately in salted water. Clean and wash the spring onions, then cut them into fine rings. Arrange the bream on a plate with the vegetables, pour over a little sukiyaki bouillon and garnish with spring onions rings.

  • > 1,2 kg bream fillets
  • > Lemon juice, salt
  • > 600 ml Sukiyaki Stir-Fry Sauce
  • > 600 ml water
  • > 50 g sugar
  • > 20 slices of pickled ginger
  • > 800 g black salsify (fresh)
  • > 40 okra pods
  • > 10 spring onions
