California Temakis (hand-rolled Sushi)
Cut the nori leaves into approximately 15 × 10 cm rectangles. Spread the sushi rice over the left half of the nori rectangles (about 4 cm wide). Press a groove into the rice for the filling and spread it with wasabi. Put the prawns, fish roe, gherkins, avocado and lettuce onto the rice and carefully roll the nori leaf into a ball, starting from one corner.
