It has been scientifically proven that naturally brewed soy sauce is the perfect alternative to salt

Reducing salt in the foods we eat is an issue that has gained in significance over recent years and it poses a challenge for the food industry. Over the course of the sustained healthy living trend, an increasing number of consumers have started eating diets that are low in salt. Scientific tests have revealed that naturally brewed soy sauce such as Kikkoman soy sauce can contribute to reducing dietary salt.

In a recent survey involving different taste tests, scientists proved that the use of naturally brewed soy sauce can reduce the salt content of various dishes by up to 50% without impairing flavour. The taste test was conducted with three dishes: salad dressing, soup and pan-fried pork. Read on…
